My Gaming History
Why I Love Games
My gaming history goes way back to tabletop Space Invaders and Pac Man in the late 1970s. It was a way to shut me up on the 7 hour journey to see my Grandparents. As a result, gaming has been a big part of my life for nearly 40 years. YouTube has allowed me to share this with anyone. Click here for my channel
My PlayStation 4 Story
Back on a cold night on the 28th November 2013 I queued with a chilly but excited group of people outside my local Game store. Why? Because I was just minutes away from getting the shiny new PlayStation 4 I’d ordered back in March. With growing anticipation, we waited as the clock ticked to midnight… and then the wonderful Game staff rolled out cages full of Sony loveliness. As a PS4 pre-order customer it was handed to me seconds after the countdown to midnight finished. I was in the car and whizzing down the M1 by ten past twelve. By 1:30 it was set up, downloading loads of PS+ and Free to play games; ready for the day off I’d booked to play it to death.
My Gaming History
As far as home computing is concerned my gaming history started in a far more humble way, with the ZX81, 16k of raw computing power, loading Hopper and Galaxions from a tape. Then I had a ZX Spectrum, Atari ST and into the PlayStation Family, PS1, PS2, PSP, PS3, PS Vita and now PS4. I have grow up with the gaming industry and seen it move on from two blokes in a bedroom programming Speedball to Uncharted 4 and No Man’s Sky.
So I will be using this website to indulge in my passion for games and share the love with as many people as possible.
Thanks for visiting the site and happy gaming.
